Loved the pics. Great shots, I would probably just hang all of them up. It seems unfair that you have to pick and choose. Did miss Aelish's shots, but I understand so I will look foward to see her photos next. Beautiful kids!

That is so funny - because lately Aubrey thinks she can magically get things out of her finger. She grabs her finger and says she has medicine or bandaids or food. It must be a funny 2 year old thing!

Love the pictures, they are so important to get when babies are so young. My only regret is that I didn't take *more* picts of all my kids when they were itty bitty.

Oh, I hear ya. My Eve is so that way!! She wants to keep every little thing she has created. My girls each have a dresser drawer for their "special" things. Every couple months we go through it and get rid of stuff that they decide they don't need anymore. If there is something that has been in there forever that they just can't get rid of then I have a bin in the garage with their name on it that their memorible stuff goes in.
I agree that we will miss all their notes and creativeness in just a few short years.

I would be happy if 9lbs. was my biggest. Oh well. I just hope that IF i have another (and that is a huge if) that the baby is small and falls out of me after having my last 2 which were over 10 lbs. ha ha One can dream...right??

Congratulations, Michelle!!! She is so beautiful. What an incredible birth story. Obedient, indeed! My labor with my little Sammy baby was exactly 55 minutes long, also. Woke up at 1:15 in the morning, he was born at 2:10. Crazy! Anyway, I'm so very happy for you.

Wow, Michelle! You guys almost had an unassisted birth! What a story! Just think, she probably would've been born in the car had you birthed @ a hospital!

That was so nice! If only more people would look for the good :)
When I was expecting David,I relied so much on Ryan and the only way things happened was because I knew he was there. We got to count our blessings. I am glad that Grady got home safe and sound and ready to tackle the new baby right after on saturday, I love being able to be in town when the baby was born but I was sad to have to leave so soon after your delivery. I wish I could have stayed longer! Congrats and thanks for including me on your special day!

Much of our 3 week long "track break' has felt like this. While I've heard other moms talk about trips to UT or CA beaches, we've mostly just hung out at home, eating snacks and making Amish friendship bread. the kids have watched way too much TV, but then, we rarely watch it when school is in because there simply isn't any time (thank goodness).

I guess we parent in seasons, where things slide for a bit due to pregnancies or PMS or tired times, and then as moms we somehow spring back like rubber bands and snap to at some future point, pulling all wrongs to rights. Ahhhh, the cycles of life!
